Another option that tourists can check-in when visiting the heart-warming island of Guimaras is a resort named Baras Resort.
With a truly magnificent ambiance, Baras Resort is considered to be a nature-loving haven for tourists who want to experience Guimaras the natural way.
I got to see the facade of this place and it is truly as breath-taking as they said it to be. With lush green trees covering every room in this resort, one can commune with nature and enjoy the harmonious sound of the sea and at the same time feel the fresh air brought by the trees.
With it's neighboring cave, Baras Cave, one can also try exciting activities around the area like kayaking, snorkeling and spelunking. If you wanna see more, hire a boat that will take you to the other surrounding islands that will complete your Guimaras trip.
From Baras Resort, reaching and exploring other places such as Raymen Resort, Rico Beach Resort, SEAFDEC, Tiniguiban Island, Ave Maria Island, Turtle Sanctuary and Nagtago Island can be done in a day.
Just a friendly reminder, since this place is somehow separated from the main island, there are some lapses that the whole resort might have, just like what I've read from the other write-ups that I saw on the Internet. But as they say, if you want a castaway experience, this is the place to be, so I think it depends on your trip!
And since I'm not that type of person that's so "maarte", I'm considering to stay at this place on my next visit here in this beautiful island of Guimaras! ^_^
Happy Rammmpa!
I have stayed in Baras about 6 years ago. Maganda talaga sya especially if you are staying dun sa cottage na nasa tuktok. Love to wake up every morning and enjoy the view.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to stay there again but wondering why it gets negative reviews now. Baka napabayaan na when the owner died a few years ago.
