It was first time to attend such exhibit of wonderful offers and I'm honestly saying that if it happened that I have a lot of money (or my credit card can afford it) that day, I think I booked like five trips that day. Hahaha. But since I'm already booked for a Bacolod-Iloilo-Gumaiaras trip on the second half of the year, I only went to this expo for the mere experience and to get some free infos about those three places that I'm about to discover.

It’s Panagbenga Time!
Dubbed as the most colourful feast in the country because of its natural colors from the flowers used in the costumes and floats during the grand parade, which is always on the last weekend of this month-long festival, the Panagbenga means “season of blooming” in Kankanaey.
Every establishment, company, school and community participates in this very lovely festival in where they showcase their wonderful crafts and talent for designing and dancing.
And this coming February 26 and 27, the most awaited and anticipated Grand Festival Parade and Street Dance will be held once again on the busiest road of Baguio City - Session Road.
I’ll be out of town that weekend, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t be in Baguio City .
It is kinda sad because the first and last time I witness this grand event was last 2008, and it’s been three years now… It’s been a long time.

The 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival
Packed with love for balloons and other flying objects, some food, money and shirt, I and two of my superfriends went to Clark Field, Pampangga to co-celebrate and witness for the first time the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival.
We’ve been hearing a lot of great stuff about this event, and so, early this year we decided to see it with our own two eyes and enjoy the said flying objects up-close and personal.
At around 9 a.m., we took a Philippine Rabbit bus at Recto Avenue, Manila. This transpo costs us Php120.00 each. It drove us from Manila to SM Clark where we took our next vehicle – a jeepney ride that will take us to the main gate of Air Force City, Clark, Pampangga. This jeepney ride costs us Php8.00 each.
Upon arriving the busy road to the main gate, I texted Miss Kankan, who’s been so nice to give me tickets to this event. The ticket cost Php150.00, so I’m really thankful to Miss Kankan because it saved us some money. :-) Thanks, Miss Kankan and Sir Laszlo!

Zipline at Residence Inn - Tagaytay
Looking for a place where you want to spend the coming Valentine's weekend? If you are looking for a place that is cold and gives you a breathtaking view with some fun and exhilarating activities to enjoy, why not head to Residence Inn - Tagaytay! It's just some miles away from Manila....
When I went there last summer, they are just starting to build their Zipline. And now... Now, they now have a Zipline with Taal Volcano as the background!!! Wee!
I saw it with my own two eyes, and by just looking at it, I can feel the excitement and fun...
Though, I'm not ready to take the dare yet. Hahaha!

On my Way to the Altar: A Sto.Niño de Tondo Visit
When ever I have a chance to visit Sto. Niño de Tondo Parish, I always make sure that I will walk my way to the altar, a replica of Sto. Nino de Cebu, which is located at the upper level of the said church where one can see the replica closer and make a wish!

It is just some few steps, but it’ll take you some minutes, depending on the number of visitors who like to knock on the altar behind the bars and make a wish for themselves and for their families.
They say that this Señor Sto. Niño answers one’s wishes, no wonder a lot of his devotees really took time in lining up and following the trail to the altar.
Here are some of the photos that I took on my way to the altar:

Feast of Sto. Niño de Tondo 2011
As the whole country focuses its attention to the Queen City of the South , Cebu, as they celebrate there the Sinulog Festival in respect to the little Jesus – Sto. Niño – here in Metro Manila, we, the people from Tondo, Manila, also give praise and thanks to our little patron who’s been so good to us all these year.
Yes, look here as I share to all of you the Feast of Sto. Niño de Tondo!
Just like in Cebu, every third Sunday of January, people from Manila gather at Sto. Niño de Tondo Parish to celebrate and give thanks for all the blessings and miracles that the little Jesus has given to us. On the streets of Tondo, you’ll see dances and praises of different local bands chanting “Viva, Viva, Sto. Niño!”
