Centris: The New Face of Quezon City

MRT commuters must be wondering what the hell is that UFO-looking place is doing in Quezon Avenue.

Well, here’s the answer...

It is the latest offering of Eton Properties, the Centris.

Adding a new and unique attraction to one of the busiest city in the metro, Eton Properties just recently opened to the public an astonishing hangout place where family and friends can enjoy a day and night of hanging out, walking and dining.

The Centris Walk, the main attraction here in Centris, has these restaurants and cafes to answer your gastronomic needs – Asya, My Thai Kitchen, Jack’s Loft, Itallianis, Pancake House, Tutti Frutti, Pho Hoa and Zong. And soon they’ll have Claw Daddy, Coffee Bean, Tea Leaf, Choi Garden and many more.

With its wide variety of high-end restaurants and cozy cafes, I’m sure that all the gimikeros and gimikeras will love spending some time here.

As for me, I was amazed by the wonderful UFO-like structures which serve as covers against rain and sunshine. From afar, they all look like UFO pods but when you get closer to these structures, you will notice that these are lily pods that shed different colors and serve as the focal point of the whole place. They call this Constellation, a state-of-the-art canopies that gives beauty and uniqueness to the whole place.

During weekends, the parking space in the Centris Walk was converted into a weekend market that caters a wide array of delicacies from organic food and native goods to fresh produce and ornamental plants.

They also have the Centris Station, a place connected to MRT-Quezon Avenue Station. Centris Station has  a two-storey shopping center that is complete with fast food chains and an SM Hypermarket.

And soon to rise within the place is a residential condominiums, office buildings, pocket gardens, an events venue and retail outlets.

With all these developments, I can wait to pay my next visit to this wonderful place. It was like living the Avatar life. Hehehe.

And, oh, yeah, pay a visit to Asya, they are offering delicious Filipino dishes with a twist!

See you again, Centris!
