Held at the Jellies at Manila Ocean Park, Department of Tourism (DOT) and Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) recently unveil their top 10 emerging business destinations for the year 2010.




So if you are thinking of your next Philippines tourist destination to conquer that has good accessibility, communication network, availability of meeting facilities and standard accommodation, feel free to browse on this page these ten destinations that are ready to conquer you heart, relax your body and revitalize your soul.







From Region I, we have Laoag and Dagupan for their heritage sites.




From the Cordillera Autonomous Region, we have the La Trinidad Valley for its magnificent strawberry fields, vegetable terraces and cut flower industry.


From Region III, we have Zambales for its multifaced destination for beach holidays, mango agri-tourism and sports adventure activities.




From Region IV-A, we have San Juan, Batangas for its beautiful beaches and stylized type of resorts.


From Region IV-B, we have Marinduque for its world-class resorts and rich cultural traditions.



From Region V, we have Sorsosgon for its eco-tourism activities which include the whale interaction and firefly tour.




Now, those are just from Luzon! Here what’s in store for us in the Visayan Region.


From Region VI, we have the beautiful Silay City for its preserved ancestral houses and rich culinary heritage and newly constructed world-class airport.

And now, from the far down south, here are the top destinations from Mindanao!


From Region IX, we have Dapitan City of Zamboanga del Norte for its historical treasure leaded by the works of our national hero Dr Jose P. Rizal and complemented by its rustic surroundings and thriving aqua culture industry.


From Region X, we have Cagayan de Oro for being not the only gateway to the northern part of Mindanao but also for catering the city-based adventures and activities.




From Region XI, we have the Island Garden City of Samal for its paradise-like coves and beaches, eco-adventure sites and activities.

From Region XII, we have the Pacquiao county Sarangani for its beautiful coastlines, diverse cultural heritage and aqua tourism activities.





And lastly, from Region XIII, we have the Butuan City’s Caraga for its historical mecca of the Philippines with good access to Agusan marshlands and surfing capital of Siargao.
