Staycation at Ramada Manila Central
Chinese New Year is fast approaching, and even though I'm not really a Chinese, I'm so in love with their culture that is just so rich and colorful. That's why if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Manila to catch the celebration of our fellow Filipino-Chinese, well, I recommend that you come and stay at Ramada Manila Central.
The newest and latest addition to the evolving town of Binondo, Ramada Manila Central was our home a few days back when I, and my superfriends, decided, to have this "staycation".
Just on the side of Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz or popularly known as Binondo Church, Ramada Manila Central is really not that hard to find and actually safe to locate. With an ambiance for luxurious travelers and deep-pocketed backpackers, this hotel offered me and my friends a relaxing and enjoyable stay that we would love to experience again and again.

Ramada Manila Central: The Newbie at the Oldie
Crowded streets, food stalls here and there, lucky charms dangling from every window and rising tall condominiums blocking the sunlight - these are the things that you can see at Ongpin Street in Manila now. Also known as Manila's Chinatown, this one of the oldest Chinatowns in the world has been the heart of Manila for centuries. But with these current developments, is there really a place for the Ramada Manila Central?
Just recently, I was invited to check out this newly opened place in Chinatown. Famous in the Chinese region, Ramada Hotel just opened its Manila Central doors giving a modern twist to the oldie and crowded Manila's Chinatown.
Officially opened its doors last April 27th, Ramada Manila Central is located a stone-throw away from the Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo Ruiz or more popularly known as Binondo Church. Ramada Manila Central is the latest addition to this historical street, and with their breath-of-fresh-air outlook that aims to give local and international tourists a more pleasing and relaxing place to stay during their visit here in Manila, they are assuring that everyone will enjoy Manila more than they'll ever know.

A Chinese New Year Holiday at Ongpin
If I'm not mistaken it was the very first time that our country, or in this case, our government declared the day of the Chinese New Year a holiday. And since Ongpin or Manila's Chinatown is just a few minutes away from our home, I spent my work-less, holiday Monday here and join the fun and festivity of this year's Chinese New Year.
When I was a kid, my family and I used to dine here and enjoy some delectable Chinese food. Those foods were can only be found in this crowded yet very homey place, so I didn't wonder why a lot of people that time really go here just to taste some authentic Chinese food.
If there's one place in Manila that visitors should see, I believe Ongpin should be on that list because in here you'll certainly see how the two cultures, Filipino and Chinese, blended so well.

Via Crucis: 14 Churches of Manila
I've been doing this Visita Iglesia thing or Via Crucis since I was in the 4th grade. It opened my eyes to the wonderful story of sacrifices made by Jesus, as well as it opened my eyes to the amazingly made churches here in the Manila.
And now, let me share to you my journey as I complete the 14 stations of the cross of Jesus Christ with these 14 amazing churches of Manila City.
