Hamilo Coast's Pico de Loro Cove: A Balance of Everything

While most of you are busy booking flight through  "Piso Seat Sale" to see and experience your dream destination at an affordable price, two hours away from the busy and crowded Metro Manila lays a beautiful, peaceful and maybe adventure-filled spot hiding behind the green slopes of Hamilo in Nasugbu, Batangas. And yes, you don't need a long weekend to enjoy the beauty that Hamilo Coast's Pico de Loro has to offer.

Passing through the nice and smooth CAVITEX, reaching the quiet and clean Hamilo Coast is so easy and surprisingly breathtaking. Famous for its well-preserved diverse marine life, Hamilo Coast is currently gaining popularity as a haven for fitness activities like triathlon. But of course I didn't went there to chase time, you know me. I went there to put my feet up and experience the talked about Pico de Loro luxury, only few people can really afford.

I must say, price-wise, staying here for a night is quiet expensive, most specially if you are not a member of its Beach or Country Club. But knowing that  we now have  a chance to see and feel the place, I guess price doesn't really matter at all - most specially if you are staying at their Pico Sands Hotel.

Yep, just in case you are wondering how to get a chance to see and experience Pico de Loro at Hamilo Coast, non-members like us can now book a room at their Pico Sands Hotel. A modern-looking hotel that offers comfort and relaxation at the same time, Pico Sands Hotel is two-building facility inside the Hamilo Coast complex, one with mountain view and another one with lagoon view.

The Mountain View building offers three room types, standard, superior and supreme, while the Lagoon View building offers five room types, such as superior, deluxe, premier, corner deluxe and the penthouse loft rooms. Our room then was a premier. Sweet! (Thanks, Coleman Philipines!)

Hamilo Coast, including the Pico de Loro Cove, its beach club, country club, residence and chapel; and Pico Sands Hotel, its dining areas, game areas and spa; despite of being pricey is definitely a must-try and a must-experience here in the country.

Made to give everyone a space that one can truly enjoy, my trip to Pico de Loro Cove is one of the best "short vacation" I had in my life. There are a lot of sporty things that one can do but if I were you, I won't do any of them simply because of the stealing scenery that are just so breathtaking and relaxing you would prefer to stroll around, see and even take pictures of it just like me.

By night, one can enjoy dining under the twinkling Nasugbu, Batangas sky through the romantic candle-light dinner prepared by some of their restaurants. The buffet was good, just hope that it won't be too windy because sands may fly onto your meals.

The best way to end your night here in Pico de Loro? None other than a soothing and fitting body massage. Thankfully, they have "Rain the Spa" that offers value-for-money massages. Their masseuse were all nice that this whole portion deserves a two-thumbs up!

And since "Rain the Spa" is in the same building where we are staying, I had some time to catch the beauty of Pico de Loro Cove at night, and yeah, as breathtaking as the day view - but lovelier!

A stay here in Pico Sand Hotel would cost a couple roughly around Php10,000.00. It may be too pricey to most of us, but seriously, with a place like this, including all the amenities and the breakfast buffet, I seriously think that it's not bad after all.

I don't think experiencing Pico de Loro Cove is an indulgence... For a place as beautiful as this, this place is just worth experiencing. And I'm really thankful to Coleman Philippines for inviting me to their event here in Pico de Loro and letting me experience the luxury of a five-star hotel while being surrounded by the natural beauty of it environment.

How I wish I could stay one more night, but Php10,000 is a bit heavy on my pocket, so I guess until next time? Hahaha!

Thank you Pico de Loro for trying your best to keep the whole Hamilo Coast beautiful and friendly - both to human and animals who are living and breeding here! Keep it up!

Happy Rammmpa!
