Loving Malaysia at the 2014 PTAA Travel Tour Expo

If you can still remember, it was almost a year ago, when I was gifted to be part of a group of bloggers who will experience the maiden flight of Zest Air (now AirAsia Zest) to the beautiful and shining City of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. It was a memorable time for me since it is my first glance at the beautiful world and I can still vividly remember everything.

Last Friday, as the most anticipated and exciting 2014 Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Travel Tour Expo opened, thousands of travel aficionados and great-deal buyers flock SMX, SM Mall of Asia to witness and be the first buyers of the amazing packages and trips prepared by the organizers.

Though, I'm not really there as the doors opened, I had a free time in the afternoon, after work, to see what's happening inside the place and how great are the great deals. I didn't really went there to buy, but rather check out what I can find out on the scheduled trips.

I'm not really aiming to go out of the country this year, despite of possessing a round trip ticket to Malaysia or Macau. But when I went to see the launch of the Holiday Brochure of Tourism Malaysia, I can't help but to dream of seeing Kuala Lumpur once again, and then travel to Melaka and probably see the Lego Land in Johor. Ooh, Malaysia is the love! Specially their food!

As for their Holiday Brochure, Tourism Malaysia is currently campaigning their Visit Malaysia 2014 wherein a great list of entertaining, educational, inspiring and cultural-relevant activities are lined up. And to attract the heart of the Filipino shoppers there at the 2014 PTAA Travel Tour Expo, they had Joyce Pring as the program's host and Barbie Almalbis rendered a song to entertain everyone.

Lucky viewers took home some sweet prizes, which include a round trip ticket to Malaysia to witness the exciting things they have prepared for everyone. Others, like me, were gifted with a plush proboscis monkey toy, also known as the long-nosed monkey, which is  the official mascot for Visit Malaysia Year 2014.

After witnessing the program, I had more time to see what the other booths have, and I'm so glad that they are really taking the experience right then and there since they brought in some more for us to see.

Thank you, Tourism Malaysia for the gift and excitement you've given to me.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to use the round-trip ticket that I have with me, but rest assured, if I have extra money, I'll definitely book it! I still have a month to think about it. Hehehe.

Thank you and congratulations too, PTAA, for this successful and inspiring Travel Tour Expo! May we have more of this in the near future!

P.S. I'm so happy to finally meet one of my favorite travel bloggers, the Pinay Travel Junkie herself, Gay Mitra-Emami! Weee! I'm a fan! Hahaha!

Happy Rammmpa, everyone!
