The time has come for the lovely sky of SM Mall of Asia to be bright and colorful again as the second part of the 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition showcased the amazing and dazzling spectacles of Spain and United Kingdom.
United Kingdom, who is the reigning champion of this glorious showdown of fireworks worked its wonder once again as they proved last Saturday that they are indeed worthy of the title. But before we proceed to the winning performance of United Kingdom, let me tell you first why last Saturday's show is actually one of the best from Philippine International Pyromusical Competition.
With a number of activities happening in and around the metro last weekend, it was surprisingly good to see that SM Mall of Asia is still filled with people who are so eager for that night's show. There were a lot of activities prepared for everyone, so each of us had a fun time exploring the lot just before the nightfall.
It was around 7 when the show started. It was Spain's Brinchu Pyro Experience who opened the second day of the 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition, and as expected, they have a really great show that was full of surprises and colorful bursts.
I personally love the burst of Spain colors - red and yellow. But I love how they played every segment with Pop music, which add that young and hip feel to their show. Of course, they ended it with their kind of music that left all awed and wondered. It was magical, actually, and I love it.
But United Kingdom, didn't let us all feel hanging. After some few minutes, their fireworks burst up in the air, practically filling the whole sky with gigantic fireworks display that looked like blossoming flowers filled with beauty and wonders.
If Spain brought in a couple of spectacular pops, United Kingdom's Jubilee Fireworks swiped it all out and gave out a standing-ovation show. it was so fucking surreal. The encapsulating vibrancy of colors made more lively by well-chosen songs, which made me say that United Kingdom will win again. I'm pretty sure it will come true because with the amazement that is so obvious from everyone's face, United Kingdom's show is the "the must-see show".
If you weren't there, well, I feel sorry for you, for I really think that it is one of the best fireworks' show - EVER.
Next week, it's gonna be France and Japan. I like what France did last year, and I do hope that they'll give us better - better that United Kingdom. ^_^
Thanks and good luck to the two countries! Best show so far, and I can't wait to see more, so see you all there again next Saturday!
Happy Rammmpa!
