I celebrated my 33rd birthday in this beautiful island a month ago. It was an out-of-the-blue decision, filled with excitement to drown the broken-hearted feeling that I had that time. But just like most of the travelers, I have to watch out for my budget as I don’t wanna go broken and broke at the same time. Haha! Special thanks to my three Superfriends for tagging along, the expenses were cut down to almost half and to this this new-found place here in Boracay that offers a outstanding escape from the typical Boracay experience.
Instead of going the usual Boracay trip of enjoying the White Beach and partying at night, our group decided to book two rooms at Rieseling Boracay Beach Resort. A tranquil and very accommodating beach resort fronting Bulabog Beach, which is located on the opposite side of the world-famous White Beach of Boracay. Rieseling Boracay offers a sun-shinier spot equally filled with beautiful view, amazing amenities, exciting activities and loving Aklanons. The only difference, which I personally appreciate is its peacefulness and superb service that you don’t normally get in an off-site accommodation.
Equally pristine Bulabog Beach
Rieseling Boracay Beach Resort, though not just a perfect place to mend a broken heart, is also a great alternative if you are looking for a perfect private bonding place in the paradise-like island of Boracay. Its exclusive feel was the one that welcomed us during our stay. The rooms that my friends and I had were the Rieseling’s Oceanview Suites. This type of room offers a relaxing and calming view of the Bulabog Beach and the resort’s pool and garden, while keeping the balance with its interior’s cozy and warm conveniences through its whole 40 sqm. size, including the balcony.
My spacious room speaks for what this whole place is all about – LOVE
On our first night, I was surprised to receive a call from the front desk saying that they’ve got me a gift, which can be found in one of the cabinets. I thought they were joking, but why they would do that, I asked myself. So upon opening the cabinets, I saw this nice bottle of red wine with my name on it and a birthday greeting – SWEET! Perfect to heal my heart’s wound. CHOS! Hahaha!
In fact, it was very difficult for me to go out of this resort mainly because I already have what I needed here. They have a Beach Bar and Deli that serves sumptuous meals including a hearty breakfast that comes with the accommodation. The taste and serving size was definitely for the win – and don’t forget to try their hazelnut coffee – THE BEST IN THE ISLAND! They also serve a great selection of meals perfect for lunch and dinner and then some snack just in case you just wanna lay around and enjoy the serenity of the place.
And even though we didn’t have much time and I don’t have the heart then to try the exciting activities that they offer here, Rieseling Boracay Beach Resort staff were so nice to explain to me the numerous Boracay activities that they could help their guests to book such as diving; paraw or sailboat ride; island tours through bike, motorboat or ATV; watersports such as banana boat rides, flyfish rides, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc.; golf; or even wind sports like kite boarding or wind surfing.
Beach Bar and Deli
By the way, their swimming pool is open til 12 midnight, so just in case you came in late from some other activities outside the resort, you can still enjoy the amazing and relaxing pool while stargazing.
With its tagline “Rise above the crowd”, Rieseling Boracay Beach Resort is definitely a home away from home, packed with lush coconut trees that adds relaxing summer vibe, clear, blue sea and wondrous amenities perfect group of friends, families or even for a romantic and quiet escape (someday, ganito ang gagawin ko!) Hahaha!
